Trevor Jensen, Songwriter.

Trevor Jensen is a singer, songwriter, producer and keyboard player who got his start at only four years of age when he fell in love with music.

After several years of classical training and a background in Royal Canadian Conservatory of Music his interest turned to modern contemporary songs.  Less than a week after taking this new direction he wrote his very first original music and lyrics and never looked back, going on to write close to a hundred more!

It didn't take long for Trevor Jensen to taste success with his original songs. In fact, his very first record, "Only You" was recorded at Pinewood Recording Studios and went  #3 to #30 across Canada within just a couple of weeks of distrubution to radio stations, coming out on top of  such artists as Queen and Barbra Streisand!

Jensen returned to Pinewood, recording the rest of his album with such names as Jim Vallance and Geoff Turner, and again success was not far away.

Usually a ballad writer with an affinity for soft rock and a good love song, Trevor expanded his horizons with "I Thought I Knew You So Well", an edgy rock song, entered it and four ballads in the Canadian Songwriting Contest.  After the judging, he was pleasantly surprised to find himself on the winner's list ahead of some incredibly talented songwriters and performers and a field of 186,000 entries from Canada, U.S.A. and Europe!

A self confessed "studio addict", Trevor soon took on his next challenge, exploring more unknown territory, writing and producing two instrumental pieces for a major motion picture by Avatar Films starring Sean Connery, Sir Alec Guiness, Mark Harmon and Jessica Lange, but sadly after a string of production delays and the passing of Sir Alec Guiness, the film was scrapped and the two pieces (now entitled "Razor's Edge I and II") were never used.

Faced with the declining health of his parents, Jensen made the hardest choice he had ever had to make, leaving the music business just when it seemed his career as a songwriter,  performer and recording artist was about to take off.

Cut to 2010 and the realization that his dream to make music has never gone away, add a good sized helping of encouragement from friends and fans (who had located Trevor on Facebook and never forgotten his songs) and you have a comeback of sorts, this time as a songwriter!
